One year ago, Shytoshi Kusama announced the launch of The Shib. In an industry often defined by hype and volatility, we set out to offer something different: a steady, insightful presence that would serve not only as a chronicler of the Shiba Inu ecosystem but as a vital organ within it.
In these twelve months, The Shib has grown into a central platform, connecting the Shiba Inu community with the developments that matter most. It has become a publication driven by the pulse of innovation, while grounded in the principles of transparency and thoughtful journalism.
This first year has been a test, a trial by fire, if you will—one that forced us to navigate the unpredictable nature of crypto, confronting everything from market swings to FUD, to misinformation. Yet, amid the turbulence, we’ve found a clear path.
Our foundation has been fortified by the enduring vision of Kusama and the technical ingenuity of Kaal, whose leadership has steered the ship through the roughest of waters. Thanks to their direction, we have weathered the storms of skepticism and misinformation, emerging more united and resolute than ever.
Over the past year, we have chronicled the birth of key projects, tracked the evolution of Shiba Inu’s decentralized ecosystem, and highlighted the vibrant community that continues to push the boundaries of what crypto can achieve. Our coverage has ranged from in-depth analyses of Shiba Inu’s technological advancements, to market trends, to the real-world applications of Shiba’s growing network.
We’ve amplified the voices of the Shib Army, a community that embodies both resilience and passion, proving that decentralized finance is not just an idea but a movement with a real, lasting impact.

The convergence of established platforms with emerging blockchain networks often sparked innovation, and Mint Club's integration of Shibarium is a prime example. Beyond merely a technical advancement, this integration is a strategic alignment that promised to unlock a wave of creativity within the Shiba Inu community.
Mint Club, a platform known for its simplified token and NFT creation tools, found fertile ground in Shibarium, the layer-2 scaling solution poised to revolutionize the Shiba Inu ecosystem. To understand the impact of this integration, we spoke with Jay Jang, Marketing Lead at Mint Club, who shared insights on how the platform’s features align with Shibarium’s capabilities and what users can expect from this collaboration.
“Shibarium, as a Layer 2 solution,” Jang explained, “offered significantly reduced transaction fees and faster confirmation times compared to Ethereum mainnet.” This focus on efficiency and affordability aligned perfectly with Mint Club’s mission to democratize access to the world of token and NFT creation.
However, the benefits extended beyond the purely technical. “Integrating with Shibarium allowed us to connect with the vibrant Shiba Inu community,” Jang added, noting the strategic advantage of being the first token and NFT launcher dApp on the network.
This early adoption already yielded impressive results, with over 60 BONE child tokens and nearly 30,000 Wrapped BONE locked in bonding curve pools within a week of the soft launch.
As part of its focus on Shibarium, Mint Club is also considering the question of token migration. According to Jang, moving existing tokens to a new chain can be a challenging process, especially for tokens with liquidity pools. However, he emphasized that Shibarium users can still create new tokens directly on the network.
“We understand that moving tokens across chains can be complex, but Mint Club users can still easily expand the Shiba Inu ecosystem by creating additional tokens on Shibarium,” Jang said. This gives new users the flexibility to enter the Shiba Inu ecosystem without needing to migrate assets from other platforms.
Mint Club’s core strength lies in its intuitive, no-code interface, allowing users to create customized tokens with a variety of bonding curve models. From exponential and linear to logarithmic and flat price, the platform offered a flexible framework for designing unique tokenomics.
While the initial Shibarium integration focused on leveraging the chain’s inherent benefits, Jang emphasized the importance of community feedback. “If the Shibarium community had specific demands or requests for the Mint Club protocol,” he said, “we would be happy to collaborate and provide support.”
Recognizing that effective tokenomics requires careful planning, Mint Club offers a suite of tools to guide users. The “Parent-Child Token Concept” simplifies the process by predefining key settings, while the Airdrop Tool, Lockup Tool, and Bulk Sender provide enhanced functionality for managing and distributing tokens and NFTs. For developers, the Mint Club SDK offers even deeper integration possibilities, fostering creativity and innovation within the SHIB ecosystem.
The potential of this partnership extends far beyond individual token creation. Jang highlighted how Mint Club’s bonding curve mechanism can empower the development of complex crypto projects on Shibarium, citing examples like Ham Chain and Degen Chain, which have integrated Mint Club for tipping and token minting functionalities. The platform’s unique ability to combine bonding curve liquidity pools with NFT-based tokens (ERC1155) has also fueled innovative projects like Far.cards and Farconic, showcasing the potential for creative applications within the Shiba Inu universe.
“Deeper integration with the Mint Club protocol on Shibarium,” Jang suggested, “could open up exciting opportunities for users, enabling the development of fun meme tokens, unique NFTs, DAOs, SocialFi platforms, and more creative crypto projects.”
Mint Club remains committed to expanding the utility of Shibarium-deployed tokens. While specific plans are still under wraps, Jang underlined the importance of community engagement.
“At the protocol level, anything is possible,” he asserted. “Our focus remains consistent: to make Mint Club the best platform for users to easily build their crypto projects.”
Mint Club’s integration with Shibarium represents a significant leap forward for both the platform and the Shiba Inu ecosystem. With its powerful token creation tools, seamless bonding curve mechanics, and vibrant community, Mint Club is well-positioned to play a major role in the evolution of Shiba Inu-based projects.
As the Shiba Inu ecosystem continues to grow, Mint Club’s collaboration with Shibarium offers a new gateway for creators, developers, and enthusiasts looking to engage with the next generation of blockchain technology.
